Bee Control & Removal

Bee Control & Removal you can actually rely on

A swarm resting on a branch or fence is usually a temporary cluster looking for a home, and often moves on within a day or two. An established hive inside a wall cavity, roof void, chimney or meter box is a different matter — comb, honey and brood in a building cavity attracts other pests and can cause staining and damage if left.

We assess the situation honestly. Where a swarm or hive can be collected and relocated, we will point you to that option first. Where the colony is inaccessible, aggressive, or presents a genuine risk to a household, school or business, we treat it and advise on removing the comb and sealing the entry point.

Treatment where needed

Where a colony is inaccessible or presents a safety risk, we treat it safely with the area excluded.

Seal and prevent

FAQs

Bee Control & Removal questions

Will you relocate the bees instead of treating them?
Wherever it is practical, yes — that is our first recommendation. Accessible swarms and hives are best collected by a beekeeper. Colonies deep inside a wall or roof cavity often cannot be extracted alive without opening the structure.
Are they bees or wasps?
Bees are furry, rounder and stay near the hive with a steady flight path. European wasps are smooth, bright yellow and black, and are the ones that hover around meat, drinks and bins. Send us a photo and we will tell you.
Do I need to remove the honeycomb?
If a hive has been established inside a cavity, yes — leftover comb and honey ferment, stain ceilings and attract cockroaches, ants and rodents. We will advise on what needs to be opened up and cleared.
How fast can you attend?
Swarms are time sensitive because they often move on quickly. Call us as soon as you see one and we will give you an honest answer about timing and the best option.
