How we handle ant control
Species identification
Black house, coastal brown, Argentine, white footed and pavement ants all behave differently — the species dictates the treatment.
Trail and nest tracing
We follow the trails to their source: wall cavities, subfloor, paving, garden beds, retaining walls or roof void.
Colony treatment
Species matched gel baits and non repellent transfer products so the active is carried back and shared through the colony.
Barrier and prevention
External perimeter treatment plus advice on the moisture, food and mulch conditions that invited them in.

FAQs
Ant Control questions
Why do the ants get worse after I spray them myself?
Most retail sprays are repellent. Instead of killing the colony they stress it, and many species respond by budding — splitting into multiple satellite nests. That is why a problem in one spot becomes a problem in four.
How long until the ants are gone?
Usually you will see a noticeable drop within a few days and full control within one to two weeks, because the bait needs time to move through the colony. Seeing ants feeding on the bait early on is exactly what we want.
Should I clean the treated areas?
Do not wipe over the bait placements or the treated perimeter. Normal cleaning of benchtops and floors is fine — we place products where day to day cleaning will not remove them.
Do ants come back every summer?
Melbourne has huge outdoor ant populations, so pressure returns each warm season. An annual treatment before summer keeps them outside where they belong.
