Bed Bug Treatment Melbourne

Bed bugs do not mean an unclean home. They mean someone brought one back from a trip, a hotel or a second hand item.

Bed Bug Treatment

Bed Bug Treatment you can actually rely on

Bed bugs are one of the hardest pests to get rid of without professional help. They hide in seams, screw holes, bed slats, skirting, power points and the folds of a bed base, they feed at night, and a single missed pocket restarts the entire infestation.

Our treatments are methodical and discreet. We inspect the room in detail, treat every harbourage point rather than just the mattress, and return to verify. We also work with landlords, agents, hotels and student accommodation across Melbourne where speed and discretion matter.

Our Process

How we handle bed bug treatment

Detailed inspection

Mattress, base, frame, bedheads, side tables, skirting, power points and adjoining furniture are inspected to map the infestation.

Preparation guidance

We tell you exactly what to launder, bag and keep aside — proper prep is a large part of why a treatment succeeds.

Targeted treatment

Crack, crevice, seam and void treatment with products registered for bed bugs, applied to every harbourage point in the room.

Follow up visit

A second visit typically 10 to 14 days later targets newly hatched nymphs and confirms the infestation is finished.

FAQs

Bed Bug Treatment questions

Do I have to throw out my mattress?
Almost never. Mattresses and bases can normally be treated successfully. If one is badly infested or already damaged we will tell you honestly, and a quality encasement is usually a better spend than a new bed.
How many treatments are needed?
Plan on two. Bed bug eggs are not reliably controlled by a single application, so a follow up around 10 to 14 days later is standard practice and is included in our bed bug service.
Can I sleep in the bed after treatment?
Yes — usually the same night, once surfaces are dry. Staying in the room is actually helpful: it keeps the remaining bugs in the treated area rather than pushing them into other rooms.
How did they get in?
Almost always by hitchhiking — luggage from a hotel or flight, second hand furniture, a visitor’s bag, or through shared walls in apartments. It is not a reflection on how clean a home is.
